Tips to help your Party be one to remember!

Planning a childrens party? Here are our top tips to take the stress away and help you plan THE perfect party - without the panic!

Keep it simple: Don't over complicate things for yourself - or try to cram too much in. Keep it simple with your theme, your food and your games. If you do hire Magic Jack - he can help host the whole party!

Avoid waste: Don't spend time preparing loads of food - most of it will probably go uneaten. Instead, make up party food boxes for each child to enjoy when it's time for birthday tea. Kids are more likely to sit down and everything in their box if it's presented to them as a little party picnic. This not only saves money - it saves time too! When the kids are finished all you do is throw out the boxes! Click here for party boxes.

Decorations: With party games, food and an entertainer you don't need to spend loads of money on decorating the room - the kids won't even notice! A banner and some balloons should be enough depending on the venue. Click here for party accessories.

Themes: If you are going with a theme - stick to one! We are only too happy to give advice on themes and maybe even convince Magic Jack to join in with the theme. Click here for themed party ware.

Party Bags: Don't spend too much on goody bags. Some sweets, maybe a balloon and a small toy, along with a piece of birthday cake is enough. If you do hire a childrens entertainer like Magic Jack, then he can create a balloon for each child to take home too as an extra treat. Click here for party bags.

Numbers: Are very important. Only invite the number of children you feel you can handle and that is suitable for the venue. If some of the parents are not staying for the party, make sure you have a phone number in case of emergency.

Timing: For childrens parties the usual time - and the one that we find works best - is around two hours. Longer than that and you end up with tired kids and spending more money on finding things for the children to do - shorter than that and you have a hard time cramming in all the fun and games you want your child to enjoy!

Back-up Plan: Have one!!! If you are planning to hold your party outside in your garden for example, then with the British weather being unpredictable - you need a back-up plan! Make sure you have some indoor activities on standby just in case. Magic Jack can work indoors or outdoors and is very adaptable so, if it is raining when he arrives, he can still make the sun shine on your childs special day.
